I have a couple of BearBums and while the workmomship is excellent, there are a few things I don't like about them. First, the diapers are made w/a waterproof layer that looks/feels like plastic (not thin like PUL). The "plastic" is exposed to my baby's skin in the thigh and crotch area. If you look at the picture on the auction, the white part of the inner (where the green liner stops) is the plastic-y layer. I wasn't too happy about that, as I don't think that's very comfortable for my lil one.

Secondly, the doublers in both my dipes were very thin. They didn't seem like they were very useful or absorbant.

But like I said, they are very well made. I just have other dipes I like better so these two are at the bottom of my rotation.

I just got one in the mail the other week and compared to other diapers I have bought, I'm not happy with it.

I agree. It seems from the feedback that a lot of people are happy with them though, so you never know.

The other thing with mine is that there are about 10 strings hanging off it and several of those have been sewn back into the diaper. It was no big deal for me to cut them off, but it didn't make the diaper look that attractive when I first opened it.
