Was wondering how it turned out and if there are any changes, etc. to make it work better. Just wanted to ask advice before trying it, b/c of previous NT-book recipe attempts...

Thank you !

I made it. But my buttermilk was store bought, so I'm sure that makes some difference.

It was the best bread that I have made from the NT book, but I wouldn't call it "amazing."

I would say if you're going to try a bread from the book that would be the one to use. I'm still looking for bread recipes that don't come from the book because I'm pretty new to all this. But the other breads I tried from the book didn't turn out good at all.

Hope that helps and didn't just confuse you.

No, not confused LOL !

Just wondering, did you make and bake it according to the directions ? B/c I made the zuch. bread w/ soaked flour, and baked it even longer than it said and it totally "sunk" and was still doughy in the middle.

THanks !!

I did everything according to the directions, but I think I did have to bake it a bit longer (like with all her bread recipies) or it was doughy in the middle. It did not sink though! It actually turned into the nicest looking loaf out of all the ones I've made. lol

Let us know how it turns out, I'm curious to know!
