i'm thinking this may be my ticket for better care compared to waiting to get in w/ mental health's psychiatrist (who i do not respect one bit) or going w/ my GP...as they don't know what they are doing...

i have 2 good leads on nurses who specialize in mental health... yay. i'll let u know. my mother is helping me pay for this...sigh. love her.

I used a nurse practitioner for a while, and like midwives compared to OBs, nurse practitioners tend to have more time for patients and be better at listening than even pdocs, in my experience.

Nurse practitioner too for family members. They are so thorough and patient. Much more time spent with the patient I feel. I would TOTALLY go that route!
