Yes, I have two for each which I keep in the back of my car for emergencies or carpooling. My [car seat aged] children love them and it is a great treat for them to ride in them instead of their booster/car seat. They even begged me to allow them to wear them into the grocery store, really! I have used the vest on other kids too when I have to transport them in my car and they also have loved wearing them.
They go on easily, although you have to do up two buckles and fasten the crotch strap. For children under six it should also be tethered. The vest does take a little longer to get the kids in the car, a couple of minutes or so, but it really isn't much hassle. I haven't used mine traveling yet, but will most definitely do so.
Here's a link to some photos of my kids wearing them, DS is in the small and DD is in the large.
