This may be my first post here in Pets, so I'll introduce our adopted/rescued dogs: we have a 11+ year old short-legged beagle and a 8 year old dobe mix.<br><br>
Our dobe has some allergies (environmental, seasonal and food) and thyroid issues. We finally have her "normal" -- throid meds and a special diet. She can't have any chicken or beef, so we currently feed her <a href="http://us.iams.com/iams/en_US/jsp/IAMS_Page.jsp?pageID=PL&productID=21" target="_blank">Eukaneuba Response F/P</a>.<br><br>
We found <a href="http://www.naturalbalanceinc.com/dogformulas/SPFish.html" target="_blank">Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Fish Formula</a> and wondered if we could use that rather than the Euk. It is $10 a bag cheaper, which would be a huge savings for us to feed a 100lb dog!!<br><br>
Any thoughts or advice?<br>

I never have used it...but I would check the pet food recall list on the FDA site before starting any new food. If you google pet food recall you should come up with it.
