The recent post about diaper bag reminded me that my diaper bag now might not work for CDing.

I am a diaper bag freak and recently I went on a mission to try to find a diaper bag that would fit enough for 2 babies in diapers and bottles/sippy.

My search ended with the Skip Hop Dash which I didn't think would work but it holds a ton, the diapers go in the front pockets no problem.

So we have 2 Dashes, one for DH one for me but only use 1 when we go out.

Now that we are switching to Cloth I am wondering if the Dash will be big enough for both baby's in cloth and one on Bottles, breast milk in bottle I just don't BF in public just not something I can do personally, one on Sippy.

So does anyone know if the Dash can hold CD's?

I guess we could always bring 2 diaper bags out but what about when my DH isn't with me and I can only use one bag?

That's good to hear.

I think I also have come up with another option if I need more room.

I can put another bag in the car and have some supplies in there.

Then also if we are going out with the stroller my Phil & Ted's has pannier bags so I can stick some supplies, diapers etc., in there and so lessen the load a little from my bag.

I think we should be fine.

Phew, because I LOVE my Dash so much I LOVE that it can go on the handles of my stroller so I don't always have to carry it. So handy.

I LOVE my Denim Dash! I could easily become a diaper bag junkie if I allowed myself to. I'm also super picky about bags. I researched and researched before I decided on the Dash, and I have not been disappointed. It works great with cloth diapers for us. I pack it fairly light, because I keep a larger well stocked bag(Land's End DIA) in the van for emergencies. What I usually pack in the Dash is a couple of large pocket diapers or aios or 2 premium prefolds & a cover, zippered wetbag, extra outfit, few small toys, snack cup, small toiletry bag in one of the inside pockets with travel ointment, pins and snappi, a lightweight nursing blanket in the outer pocket(like where the change pad would go, and sometimes a bottle of water or sippy cup in the outer bottle pockets. I use disposable wipes on the go, because I continually kept forgetting clean wet wipes in the bag and would find them later nasty and mildewy. Same with trying to tote a squirt bottle and dry wipes. I was just never consistent enough to change out the water, so I stick with disposable wipes.

One thing I like about the Skip Hop Dash is that the end bottle pockets flare out instead of mushing in on the bag and infringing on inside bag space. The bag is also the perfect size, not too big and bulky, but just right and easy to carry. Plus, I think they're super cute without being cutesy or overly babyish looking.. very hip.

I am SOOOOO Happy that my Dash(es) will work out.

I have the Pink Camo Dash for me and I bought the Denim Dash for my DH for fathers day. I LOVE both.

The Denim is wonderful though I have to admit that I do use it also. I find that the Denim is lighter than my canvas one which makes it a winner for me and great for when I have to carry more.

I am excited now that I won't have to change bags, I was so worried I spent months looking and researching before deciding to just try the Dash and see.

I already have a diaper bag obsession it's horrible and now I am starting a CDing obsession too.
I am on a Yahoo group for diaper bag swap and it's addicting.

I think I will probably stick another bag of some sort in the car also with a few things for emergencies. Then I can also use the Pannier Bags for more space if needed on my Phil & Ted's E3.

Thanks I'm happy now.

Now back to looking for cute diapers.

I joined the Yahoo group last year when I was doing all my research, lol, but once I got my Dash I was so happy with it that I quit looking at bags and never messed with the Yahoo group again. It's just as well, because a diaper bag addiction could run into a lot of $$.

I do think I might have to order me another custom tote, though, for the new baby. I really, really liked carrying my smallish custom tote last time for the first few months, because it could double as my purse. It's now my knitting bag, lol. I don't need much bag space for the early months of exclusive breastfeeding and teeny diapers that don't take up much space, so I can get away with something small. I like not having to carry a separate purse with a newborn in tow as well. It's also nice at church if I have to get up with the baby and take the bag with me that I'm not leaving dh stranded with no bag for the 2yo. So, for early on we'll probably pull out the Little Tripper for the 2yo and I'll carry a smaller diaper tote. It's one little thing I think I'll treat myself too later in the pregnancy.;-)

I had a Dash, and am a bag junkie as well. It was great when my two were in CDs, but now that one is day potty learned, it was just a bit too big for me. But for two and what you are carrying, I think it will work out great! And yeah, Babybags is SO addicting. . I should unsubscribe, but I just can't bring myself to! LOL!
