Hey moms, I just ordered some Adiri natural nursers after reading the plastics article in the latest Mothering issue. Has anyone else used or are using these bottles?? And if so, any feedback you would like to share would be great. Thanks
I have one. My DD won't use any other. I have stage2. I used avent before that and she would just fuss. Now DH can share in the love of feeding his little girl. I know he gets jealous of me nursing he wants to satisfy our child too, lol. And now I can have a break and take a long shower. Worth the buy in my opinion.
We were very pleased. DS was able to take a big mouthful like he does while nursing. I had tried the bottles that came with our Medela pump once, but they were awkward as he was supposed to take just the tip, and he got angry.

When he was hungry, I nursed him a little first to take the edge off and make him more willing to be experimental. The first time, he mostly felt it with his mouth until he got bored. 2 hours later, he played with it enough to realize how to get the milk out, but didn't want it. 2 hours after that, he latched on like he used a bottle every day, and ate the whole ounce without pausing!

That was 10 days ago, so I should try again soon. My thought was to try to pump just an ounce a day, freeze two 3-oz packs a week, and feed him the 7th ounce fresh on a weekend to keep him in practice.
i really want to try one of these I started back to work a few hours a day but dd won't take a bottle. if she's hungry dh gives her a banana but if she wants comforted or to take a nap his kind of screwed I put it on my holiday helper wish list but i don't have high hopes, lol.
