Sounds outside the womb? As of today, I know for sure mine is. He woke up when my DH's alarm clock went off this morning at 5 something am and kept me up for a good hour or so, then went crazy again when my alarm clock went off at 7! Gee this is fun!

Yup! I know mine has been for at least a month...we went on a sailing trip then, and every time the engine went on, baby woke up! And then I was working on the clanky anchor...baby woke up! So we tested it with DH talking to baby a couple of days later...and indeed, baby woke right up! It is fun! My belly sure feels alive these days, can't wait to meet him/her!

Yes! I played my flute for the first time in ages yesterday and Pip started moving around on the first note. I think she's a music lover

my dog will come up to my belly and squeek it's ball... and the baby will wake up! of course i told dh this and he picked up the ball and squeeked it, and she didn't move at all. i told him that she was too smart to fall for him messing with her!

she will also react to certain music... AC/DC being one band she seems to dance for! yep, that is my girl!!

I noticed this on Sunday. We were at Medieval Times and when the trumpets blew, it felt like it had startled my baby and I felt him "jump". It was so cute.

I feel jumps when my dog barks suddenly and have seemed to notice babe being more active when theres live music close by. We were in a great cafe with irish sessions and little one seemed very active.

It seems like my baby moves more to the sound of dh's voice. I think my voice lulls him/her to sleep. I hope that comes in handy.

Baby was kicking really hard when the dog was barking a few weeks ago. Also when DS cries on me, baby wiggles a lot more.

Ok, this is so cute. I just had someone come in and vaccuum my office and my baby went crazy! He started jumping all over the place like the sound was really bothering him.
He usually doesn't hear that sound because DH vaccuums before I get home everyday.
