after the birth of a baby?

I used to be so very in love with my sponges and very happy with my instead cup. I just finished period number 3 post partum(ok, my kid is 18mo old) and I am NOT AT ALL interested in using said "alternative" products. Please just give me tampax in a cardboard applicator and a lightdays pantyliner and I am happy. The prospect of using even an OB brand tampon irritates me. I can't figure out why.

I have a Diva cup my sis gave me before fertility returned and I just don't feel like using it. I was so excited when she gave it to me, now I feel guilty for not making use of it.

Anyone feel the same?

mines the opposite, before ds i couldnt be bothered and just used tampax etc.....now that I've had ds, i want cloth pads and sea pearls.

I havent had an af yet, but I may do a combo of those 2 and organic tampons, I'm not to fond of using ones with fiberglass.

I've been having the same feelings lately and I still can't quite figure out why. I've been having a hard time with my diva and have been drawn back to tampons since af came back after my last child. I don't know if its because they're what I used for years or if I'm just not trusting my diva.

After posting last night I realized that I even avoid tampons somewhat. I am more likely than ever to just use a pad. I remember in highschool thinking pads alone were for stupid people who didn't like to move. I guess I was wrong.
Maybe if I make/buy some mama pads I can stick with my ideals without violating myself with menstrual products.

It's early for me and if I wrote something above that makes you feel bad, I appologize, I didn't intend to, my tact processor doesn't come on until at least 10 am.
