I bought apricot kernel oil to try for a lite summer moisturizer and have a few questions before I open it.

If I keep fairly small amounts in bottles in the bathroom will it go yucky really fast? I'm thinking a small spritzer to use in the shower right before getting out and maybe a small bottle for face in the cabinet.

The larger open bottle has to be kept in the fridge right and should stay good for around a year?

If I can't keep some in the bathroom because it needs to be in the fridge all the time, is there some other lite weight oil to use that does not have to be kept cold?

Thanks,

Apricot kernal oil is fairly stable but you could extend it's "life" further by adding a little presevative - i.e., Vitamin E or Grapefruit Seed Extract (harder to find and more expensive, but you need only a tiny bit). A little tea tree essential oil would help too.
