okay, so I totally stole this from the March DDC .

I know we have a running thread and I love reading it, but I'm kinda lazy and pregnant and I don't want to count but I *DO* want to know where we are at now that those of us having anatomy scans are about that time. and I like looking at polls.

If you haven't had your scan yet, but you ARE finding out, wait to vote until after your US?

Since you can't vote twice for one answer, I had to add a sep options for twin mamas.

After we've all had our LOs, I'll put up another poll or roster or something to count 'em up. I love looking at those.

Unless there are lurking twins moms I don't know, I'm pretty sure all the april ddc twins are either boy/girl or two boys...

speaking of, wow, the boys are winning by a lot! I'm totally interested to see what happens when more of us vote.

We're having a BOY! I am still trying to psych myself up for the reality of having a little boy. I have become so comfortable with the whole girl thing! This is throwing me for a loop!!

Allical- Just wanted to let you know you are not alone in having a difficult time adjusting to the idea of a baby boy. I have a toddler girl and was completely prepared to give her a sister. I was so stunned at the ultrasound to see boy parts that I started crying involuntarily. I felt terrible because, after two miscarriages, I am thrilled to be having a healthy baby, but it was a shock and I am still wrapping my head around a baby boy. I know it will be love at first sight, but I am letting myself work through the other emotions for a little while longer.

Seriously guys, the number of boys to girls is shocking everywhere I know of right now! Of the dozens and dozens of babies born in the last 1-2 years, and all those I know are pregnant right now, only a tiny handful have had or are having girls! I've often wondered what is going on and why this is.

When I was growing up, we had many families with many children each (8-15 children each - NONE adopted), and the ratio of girls to boys in my age (teens) was 3 girls to 1 boy! now in my moms group, of the 21 children there - oldest being 7 - only FIVE are girls. Three more babies are due in March, April, and June. I'm having another boy, and we'll see what the others have.

This is me 100%! I teared up pretty bad during the u/s but played it off as an "It's a tears of happiness" moment. Like you, I know we love this baby, and once he is here, we will never be able to imagine life without him. We were planning on only having two children , but I really feel like we are missing another girl now, so we'll see how that goes ;)

This is partly why I'm not sure what I want to do in terms of finding out. I really, really am on board with the idea of having a girl--I have all sisters and have always wanted a daughter. So it will be an adjustment if it is a boy. I'm wondering if it would be wise to know now so I have time to get used to the idea.

We had our ultrasound today and DH is in possession of an envelope containing the sex...I had wanted to wait until birth but I don't know if I'll hold out (DH is okay either way)!!!!

This is boy #2 for me! My 3 year old LOVED watching me get the U/S. He didn't want to leave and we had to tell him that we was having a baby brother and not a sister. He kept saying we are having a girl.
