I have some short grain rice. It is either sushi or arborio, I can't tell which and of course I didn't label the jar.

I want to make risotto. Will it work with sushi rice, if that's what this is? I think any short grain will work, but I just want to make sure.

Yes. We make risotto often and always use sushi rice since it's so much cheaper here.

I just finished making it. I realized after posting that I was going to make it no matter what....

It did come out well. I added shrimp and peas. yummy.
