Kissaluvs size 0 are perfect for a newborn (at least they were for my 7lb. 9oz. girlie)! I only had 1 but I wish I had had a whole stash (which would have been about 36 with washing every day - newborns go through a lot of diapers.) She grew out of the size 0 by about 6 weeks.

I thought they were perfect for my 7lb 13oz nb. They do take a long time to dry in the dryer about 90min. DD was able to wear hers for 5mos. (She stayed little for a long time) I had about 30.

I haven't used them on a newborn, but my kissaluvs size 2 are very quick to dry. If anything, they don't absorb as I would like Mine actually are very trim, not bulky at all. They are also low-rise so that is maybe great for newborns because of the belly button.

I used them almost exclusively on dd when she was a NB. She was 8 lb 7 oz. She wore them for about 6 or 7 weeks before they stopped working well for us. They just weren't absorbant enough when she started peeing more. They did take a while to dry though, but most of the time I would toss them in the dryer for 10 minutes then hang them up, it saved on the energy bill. If I'm lucky enough to have another babe, I'll go with another size 0 stash.

We loved our kissaluvs size 0! They worked very well for our 8 lb. baby girl. We only had a dozen in our stash, so they were washed often. And the Size 0's did take a long time to dry. We moved dd up to Size 1's when she weighed about 11 pounds. The Size 0's still fit, but not as well.

The Size 1's have a much shorter drying time.

I loved my Kissaluvs 0 when dd was a newborn. They do take a long time to dry though. I wash diapers at night, so I would just take them out of the dryer with everything else, and hang them up overnight to finish drying. They would be dry by morning.

I used the kissaluvs contours on my newborn daughter for about 2 months and they worked great, no bulk and no problem drying them.

I love kissaluv 0s too! Jackson is pushing 13 pounds at 10 weeks and is in one at the moment. Not sure how much longer he'll be able to wear them though.

They are just great for a nb but I'd agree about the drying - we hung them in front of the woodstove, they took forever in the dryer.

wow thank you so much for taking the time to reply...now I'm torn...I can tell the kissaluv I have will fit perfectly as my 1st dd was 7#4oz and that's with a 75lb weight gain on my part LOL....I'm wondering if there is something out there that is styled the same way but quick-dry!! that would be nice!

I have a few different dipes, and the only two that dry fast are the FLAMs and the snapdragon; the snapdragon I do not find to work as well. FLAMs are great and trim but expensive. I think the kissaluvs are wonderful. They do take a little while to dry, the same time as the Nanipoos I have, and much less time than the Cuddlebuns newborns.

We liked kissaluvs early on. They are good at holding in newborn poo and exclusively breastfed poo. However they do take a lil longer to dry and the snaps touch baby inside.

Wanted to chime in with my Kissaluvs love.

We didn't use size 0's with DS (he was 2 mos. old when we started so he started in the size 1's)....but Kissaluvs are one of my favorite dipes. It's worth a little extra drying time. They are the softest diaper I have ever tried.

HTH!
