I was going to cook some black eyed peas and was using the quick soak method, where you bring them to a boil and then let them sit for an hour. I left the pot to play with ds and missed when they started boiling. I'm not sure how long they boiled for, probably around 5 min. Some of the skins came off and the water turned dark brown, and the skins are wrinkled, can I still cook them?
