Most of my dipes (especially the ones I bought to last until potty training) have snaps on them. I deliberately avoided velcro because I didn't want ds pulling his diaper off as he got older.

I'm realising now that some of the ones I thought would last through to training are probably going to get too small (my ds is 9 months but growing like a weed!).

Anyway I DO have my premium prefolds, but I'll admit they are the last ones I reach for because of the snappi issue. I'm worried now ds is crawling that the snappi will come undone and poke him...and I'm also concerned that as ds gets older he'll be able to get the snappi off...

So can your babies undo the snappi?? Is it an issue?

TIA

Yay!! You're back...I've been wondering if you got moved and settled in o.k!!

Back OT...i've heard not, but we're still not mobile here, so snappi's are still our friends. I've actually been using pins though lately (go figure) and them!!

YAY!!!!! I was wondering if you were coming back! (because I hadn't gotten messages back)

Anyway.. on topic... Katherine is TOTALLY mobile these days and we've had no problems with snappis coming undone as long as they're on prefolds... we have had issues with some of our eezi-gears because I have trouble getting a good grip on the hemp jersey.

Then of course, if you're using covers, you can always cover up the dipe and potentially eliminate wandering fingers for undoing snappis. Just some thoughts at least... so glad you're back!

Jack became a crawler at 5 months and I still can't keep a snappied prefold on him two months later. The snappi stays stuck but the front of the prefold comes out from under the wings. I think pins would work or using the snappi on the back of the diaper, but we have plenty of fitteds so I have been using those. I like variety though so I hope a prefold stays on better soon, maybe when he becomes more agile.
