I've been in what feels like early labor for over two weeks now. Steady contractions, I'm dialated, back ache, nauseas, diarhhea, lost my plug, etc. But nothing we've done to try and get her out has worked so far.

Today I have terrible gas (sorry
), I can't stop peeing, I'm shaky, very tired, and I feel super thirsty no matter how much I drink. Plus I was up till 2 in the morning cleaning (but I've been sort of crazy about that this pregnancy). Everything else is new and just started this morning.

Are these new odd symptoms possibly labor related? Or have I just been pregnant too long? I only know the "classic" labor signs and I don't trust those anymore since I've been going through them for weeks now. What do you guys think?

Do you have a baby in your arms yet?
I'd say this sounds like early labor. Try to rest as much as you can and have a high protein meal or snack. You could try a little Gatorade or homemade Laborade to try to help hydration and possibly the shaking. This is a very hard time and it is extremely difficult not to be impatient, your baby will come. There are some accupressure points that can help the strength and regularity of contractions. I'm thinking Penny Simkin has them in one of her books, maybe the Birth Partner or the Labor Handbook if you have access to one of those. I hope for your sake it is soon. Hang in there and rest as much as possible with a 2 year old!!
