look at this auction<br><br><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=26269&item=4305626648&rd=1" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...305626648&rd=1</a><br><br>
Are these a special color that MOE doesnt make anymore? I know that they have a mauve that isnt available anymore - are these like those? I'm trying to give the seller the benefit of the doubt. Her reserve price isnt outrageous or anything since they are brand new. But, she says they retail for 19.00? and the "white" inserts 5.00?

I think this is just their regular royal blue color. Hmmmm...talk about a retail markup!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shrug.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="shrug">

I have a couple in that color. I just bought them a month and a half ago, for WAY less 19.00$. In fact, DS is wearing one right now.

Okay, I had to e-mail and ask her about this! Here is what she replied...<br><br>
"I bought these diapers from Ecobaby Organics catalog, which retailed for that much. The white ones retail for $17.99, the colored $18.99 and the bug print retail for $11.99. I didn't know much about cloth diapers at the time I bought them and I didn't have a computer either to do any research. My friend gave me this catalog and highly recommend them. I live in the Florida keys so we are quite isolated. I guess I was vulnerable at the time..... I've enclosed a scan of the catalog page for you to see. Thanks for your input."<br><br>
Well, I don't see the scan of the catalog page, but I think I'm going to trust her that she just paid too much. ???

I kinda think along the same way...she just got taken and doesnt really know. Like I said her reserve price isnt too bad...well, I say that, but it might be 40.00 for all I know. Maybe she meant WITH shipping they retail at 18.99.

Geez oh man! She really got taken for a ride! How can a catalog justify selling them for that much! Seems like ripping people off!

They do have FBs on their <a href="http://www.ecobaby.com/newdiapers&swimming2a.htm" target="_blank">site</a> , but they list them as being on sale for $14.99, so the full price could have been $17.99. I mean good golly they have large Aristocrats for $33.99! Definately over priced <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll"> I don't see why she'd have a reason to lie about it- we should just be nice and give her the benifit of the doubt. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">

I have an Ecobaby catalog where the FuzziBunz were actually that much. The "prints" were $11.99 because they were the reverse bug seconds. The catalog is from '02. I can really scan it if anyone wants to see!

Yeah, I bought some of those bug prints from Ecobaby for 11.99(they didn't state they were seconds either). That was before I found all these great WAHMs! Yes, thay do charge a lot in their catalog, those prices are right. She also probably paid a lot for shipping from Ecobaby.
