I think you can talk about how much you like an item as long as you aren't getting any financial benefit from doing so (says Jen who is far from a mod but likes to think that she is knowledgable).

Ok, here it goes.... Its not really that 'different' but it is a GORGEOUS item and I've been pleased with it.

Silas was supposed to be a hospital birth, then he wasn't. I had seen this blanket before he was born and wistfully thought 'oh what a lovely item' since I had a bunch of hospital related keepsakes from our dd's birth.

Its a 'born at home' blanket. Its thick, double layer tie dyed flannel serged around the edges and then with a cute little applique on it and we had his full given names and his birth date added for a bit extra
He's two and a half, calls it his baby boy blanket (because of the little baby in the house) and I am really pleased with how its held up.

http://www.attachmentscatalog.com/gifts/blankets.html

ours is a 'midnight' blanket but is SOO much prettier coloured than the one shown on their site. It can be seen here
http://charlotteanabelle.ca/gallery/...28together.jpg

Anyhow, I just always thought it was a gorgeous blanket and thought someone else might think it a nice item if someone really wanted to get them a keepsake but practical item to commemorate a home birth.
