My awesome DH just reminded me. How appropriate to have a MNO the night before Mothers Day, right?

So. Where are we going?

I am so low energy right now. Going for our first outing post-barf city today. I want to be game, I just am not sure yet.

Reasonably priced rocks. My requirements are 1) good beer (shocking right?) and 2) availability of something that I can eat. I think at this point a little bit of hidden dairy would be okay, just for one night, but I'm not going to devour cheese plates or ice cream.

I am pretty unfamiliar with the restaurant scene. I know Tyler's in Apex and Durham. That's about it.

If I'm low energy I'll just do a swing, but I'm definitely in.

Sigh.

My dh has to work every Saturday night. At least until the end of grad school, sometime this decade.

I shall live vicariously through you guys and your threads until my dh has a Saturday night off and/or Noah is old enough for a sitter.

Sounds like lots of fun!

Sigh.

For some reason I thought it might have been switched to a family night on Saturday?? I could have made that up.... I'm always in for a MNO as long as the kids cooperate and GO TO BED, I can sneak out!! I've never been to Tylers but I'm game for anywhere as long as they have water

I think the reason you thought it was a family night was bc originally I floated the idea of hosting one. After a week of the sickies, I can't, but plan to soon. Maybe for the 4th of July? Mid June? Not sure, but working on it.

I am in for tomorrow. For sure now. We are all much better for (another) 24 hours now. I've never been to Tylers either, but it sounds as good as anywhere to me. Mmmm. Beer.

Also on my agenda is shopping for a dress, as most of you have probably seen on FB. Anyone want to help?

7 pm for dinner?

NAK

Not tomorrow, Saturday. Does that still work? And can we go someplace other than Tylers since that is like the only place I ever get to go if we eat out?? I'll ask DH for suggestions if you like. He, of course, knows the good places to go.

I'm so glad you guys are feeling better!

Yes! Saturday. Brain bomb. Sorry.

Someone else gets to pick. I have no dietary restrictions. No allergies. I like food and eating out anywhere will be a treat since we so rarely do it.

I can do Mellow Mushroom for sure, I just get my pizza w/ no cheese. They have decent beer selection, too.

Mexican works. I can ask for no cheese/sour cream on things.

LOVE Flying Saucer for obvious reasons. Not sure about the food though, and the website is not opening the menu page for some reason.

Elmo's might be tough for me (and April). I checked out the menu and I don't see that much that I can have.

Don't get me wrong though, if you guys want to do Tyler's I will never turn it down. Good beer will always, always make me a happy girl.

I'd love MM too, but can go anywhere if there's objections. I think 7 was thrown out as a possible time. That's perfect for me.

you guys are making me huuungry!

destination maternity (they closed motherhood maternity at crabtree and opened destination maternity) is giving 75 dollar restaurant.com gifts if you spend $150. I think they should have a different promotion if you're buying nursing tops... like i have time to spend the gift card!

anyhow, i was actually coming to say- i assume you guys are thinking of mellow mushroom in raleigh, but just in case anyone was thinking of durham- there is a bulls home game that night, so there wouldn't be any parking.
