To answer my own question-
I went to college for Law Enforcement but since the Ex and I separtated 6 months ago I have stayed hom( and stayed home since we had gotten married)
My DS( 21 mths) is very disabled( Quadreplegia Cerebral palsy, epilepcy, mental retardation and many more) so daycares won't take him and I don't have much choice in the dept. I also have a DD( 8 months)
At the moment I am not working and getting on/off CS but I am thinking about babysitting a child or two at home.

A year! Wow that is great, My boss told me that I could have something like that, after being gone for a little over 12 weeks he calls and tells me that he was wrong about the policy and since it has been longer than 12 weeks I no longer was employed. Not only did I now have any health insurance but I didn't have a job to fall back on to when baby became old enough. Now I am my own boss.

Sorry, I work at home, I can't support myself completely from my website but I am hopeful.:

I work part time, and I take Rachel to work with me.

It works very very well. Financially, it makes no sense for me to work full time. By the time I paid for daycare, I'd have less money than I do working part time with no daycare expense.

I am going to school almost full time and am a WAHM-I recently started a business with Discovery Toys. If any of you ladies are looking to supplement your income, I'd love to tell you about the opportunity available through DT. You can work your own hours (PT or FT) and can even get your kids involved and make it a mommy/daughter/son activity, it is soooo much fun!! Please feel free to email me if you'd like more information.

Currently I am enjoying my last month as a fulltime SAHM. Next month, after we move ( a month from today) I will be getting a part time (15-20 hours a week) job and working part time, outside the home. I REALLY wish I could think up something I could do that I could bring my kids with me... but I cant so right now STBX will be watching them 2 eves and saturdays when I work.

I work and I go to school. I don't see how anyone can be single and a SAHM given that you have to work or be out looking for work to get social programs like food stamps and welfare.

I babysit a 5yo girl 15-20 hours most weeks, with great flexibility. I work at a gym childcare 3 mornings a week and take the kids with me. I do odd jobs and mystery shopping, and have also earned money from a WAH phone job, but I'm taking a break from that so I can focus on my school. I'm enrolled in college (distance courses) half-time each semester, and am also homeschooling the kids.
