I was just reading in my active birth (by Janet Blasaskas) about different exercises to do while pregnant. One of them recommended was an ab toner, which is kind of like a small crunch, only barely lifting the head and rolling the small of your back to the floor. It is recommended until 34 weeks(or it is too uncomfortable to be on your back) to keep some tone to your abs safely and to make recovery faster/easier.

I will definitely be doing this, as last time I never did quite recover my stomach, also it seems like a good idea to not neglect those muscles either as they are doing quite a bit of work.

I do a body buff class that incorporates a lot of ab toning. I'll do it for as long as it feels comfortable. I'm hoping that it will help prevent the awful back pain I usually get while pregnant.

I was thinking how funny it is though: As the rest of the girls in my class get smaller and tighter, I'll be getting bigger and fluffier!
