Yes, I'm bored.

Sooo... are ya?

We won't be. We didn't find out with our other 2. I think it's just one of the most awesome feelings, when you peek beneath the blanket and discover it (or lack of it ) for yourself. Truly an amazing experience (that just adds on to the magicalness of birth itself).

(Besides, it's fun driving family and friends nuts. It really doesn't bother me not knowing. But others? Gee, they spend my entire pregnancy going bonkers. )

I'm not big on finding out (we don't as a rule), so the "Yes, I can't wait!" doens't really fit me, but we ARE going to find out, so that's what I chose.

My DS and DD1 are going CRAZY to find out. They both want a boy & I think it would be easier on them to either confirm or let them get used to the idea.

We're planning to not find out this time.

We did with dd. My hormone levels were high and at 19 weeks we had a genetic u/s to make sure everything was okay. They could see with absolute certainty, and I was happy we found out. I was 19 and we were married when I was 6 months pregnant. We didn't have any money or anything for the baby, so it was nice to be able to get lots of clothes. And my dh really wanted a boy. Like REEEEEALY wanted a boy. So it was great for him to have all that time to get used to the idea.

With ds we weren't going to find out. Dh found a crib set he really wanted on Ebay. It was very masculine, though. So, I agreed that we would find out so we could buy it if it was a boy. We weren't going to tell anyone. Then dh's grandpa got very sick and had to be hospitalized. They weren't sure he was going to make it, so we decided to tell him he was getting a great grandson. And once you tell1 person...you know.

This time I do NOT want to find out. It doesn't matter. We have all the stuff for a girl or a boy. I want to do a gender-neutral Noah's Ark theme. I'm really excited to finally wait until birth.

We won't find out. We didn't with DS. I like not knowing, I'm not really into "gender specific" type decor or clothing really for newborns so it doesn't really matter to me in that sense. My dh doesn't want to find out either so no arguing the point.

Okay, so I have ZERO willpower! Never been good with surprises. I've gotten better with age, but as a kid I was always the one who had to blab what I got someone as a gift before it was time to give it to them.

No big surprise, we will be finding out. I would go crazy!! I want to know if I'll be shopping for blue or pink. No gender neutral here. I like it all one way or the other!

Not finding out here. I love that surprise. We have stuff for a boy or girl so really it makes no difference in terms of planning.

We won't. Like someone else said, it makes everyone else wayyyyyy more crazy than it makes us. I just think it's fun.

I voted we are still deciding.. because we are PRETTY sure we are going to find out but we aren't so excited we can't wait! It's more a matter we have 2 girls and dh wants to prepare if it is another girl. So if this little one cooperates then we are going to find out.

WE'll be finding out at the 20 week ultrasound. I can't wait! Doesn't matter to me the sex, just healthy and fullterm is what I'm aiming for, but I'm such a planner I need to know what to expect.

we want to find out and just not tell anyone else. We want ppl to be creative with what they get us (we want a punk rock baby) and not drown us in piles of blue or pink.
