It might just be me, but because I was so sick this time around and lost so much weight, I am still wearing my regular jeans, actually they are too big for me, but belts are not comfy, so I just hike them up all day long.<br><br>
I feel sad about it. I have super cute maternity clothes and some super cute capris with maternity camis to wear and I can't wear the pants <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">

I try not to wear pants. I lounge at home pantsless, but I'm definitely in maternity pants when I leave the house. I did just discover that some of my regular summer capris fit me if I button them low. That makes me happy 'cause with my first pregnancy my thighs and butt got huge and apparently not so much (yet) this time if those pants fit.

I just started a few weeks ago.........although I still have regular jeans I can wear, I find my stomach is starting to get a little bit uncomfortable in them. I've also been pretty sick and still haven't regained my pre-preg weight.

Yup, the only non-maternity pants that fit me now are my running pants. I've been in the maternity ones for quite some time now.

I am still wearing regular jeans. I do have some maternity jeans but I really don't like them, they don't fit right, they roll down under my belly and I'm constantly pulling them up... if I had a pair of secret fit belly jeans from Motherhood I'd wear them, but I don't really like any of mine. My regular jeans fit fine because I carry high. I was still wearing them last time at 36 weeks, DS was born at 37 weeks. I had to stop when he dropped. We'll see how far I get this time.

This made me laugh. I have been wearing them since about 14 weeks! I have a hard time imagining someone being this far into pregnancy and not wearing them.

Same here, Amy.<br><br>
I read the title and thought, "to come home from the hospital in?"<br><br>
I suppose I could still fit my legs into my pre-preg pants but there's no way they'd fit around my belly. Nooooo way.

I have one pair of maternity capris that I wear when it's chilly out, but otherwise I'm wearing stretchy/roomy non-maternity skirts and dresses. I can also wear my regular jeans unbuttoned but it's not comfortable because they keep falling down so I only do it when I want to look especially hip.<br>
I can also wear my workout pants/shorts but don't really. I might wear the shorts more in a few weeks when it is HOT, but I feel really fat and ugly in sweatpants right now.

Yes, and like Amy I have been since about 14 weeks. Not only because of my belly (and ok, my ever-growing thighs) but also because my hips widen ALOT in pregnancy. After DD even when I was at my pre-preg weight it took longer for my hips to go back.

I haven't been able to fit into my non-maternity pants since about 14 weeks, and I was wearing maternity pants even before that! I carry very low, so I just couldn't get them on.

I thought I was in the wrong ddc at first. Um -yeah - I've been wearing maternity pants for several months now... Some pants I can wear low under my belly with a belly band, and my elastic-waist skirts (which I wear a lot) fit under my belly, but everything is just damn uncomfortable now. I think she's had a huge growth spurt in the last couple of days, because I feel like I've gotten huge all of a sudden.

Amy, nervousnelle, mummy marja, moonmama22, etc.: I *hear* ya! I have gained far less weight this time around than with dd and yet there's NO WAY I could wear my normal jeans on account of my very pregnant belly! I will say my maternity jeans are a little baggier than at this time last time around because I haven't gained as much weight in general--but there is still no doubt, belly-wise, that I'm very pregnant!<br><br>
I do wear normal stretchy yoga pants, and this summer I have been/am going to wear elastic-waisted skirts that fit under my belly, plus some loose, empire-waisted non-maternity dresses but maternity pants are DEFINITELY necessary over here!<br><br>
And, gosh, mommy2toomany--you're carrying TWINS!

Yeah, that's my issue, my hips really expanded.

I was for a while, but I realized a couple weeks ago that I have non-maternity pants that are just as comfy and almost as important - actually STAY UP! I have no hips (pregnant or not) so maternity pants just slide right down and I spend the day pulling them up. Plus, I'm carrying really high this time so I'm sure that helps.

No maternity pants here. My regular jeans look WAY better than any maternity jeans I've tried on. I'm carrying high, and I'm wearing bigger pants than normal because I gained a ridiculous amount of weight in the first 10 weeks, so I had to buy some new pants. But those are the pants that I still wear, idk if I'll ever be in maternity pants.

I am super struggling with the "there are TWO in there? where?" right now <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"><br><br>
I wasn't trying to make anyone feel bad by my post, I am actually jealous of anyone bigger then me right now.<br><br>
Tonight I went out to eat and my hubby made some comment that I should eat two desserts at least because I am eating for 3, the waitress said "TWINS? how far along are you?" I didn't want to say.. but I did and she was like "32 weeks! omg you look like you are 4 months along". I was just quiet..<br><br>
Idk I have ALL these nice maternity jeans from all my other pregnancies and I can't use them and I like to use them lol.

I'm currently measuring 5 weeks ahead, so yup I'm in maternity pants. It's amazing to me that any of you aren't. I've been wearing mine for so long that they look worn out <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue">

People also ask me where I'm hiding my baby.........I'm smaller this time then I was with DD. At this point with DD I'd gained 35 pounds. My doctor has assured me the baby is measuring on track so that's reasuring but I still feel a bit nervous about it. Since I weigh about 15 pounds less right now then I did with DD, a lot of my maternity stuff is too big. I can't help the fact my regular jeans still fit..........I have a belly but am smaller in the hips, bum, legs, plus they are low rise. I've been very sick........I was with DD too but still gained weight...........I don't know?

You didn't make me feel bad but I am kind of jealous of you <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"> I carry really (really) big and even today going to the commissary I had THREE strangers ask when I was due, comment on how huge, low I'm carrying, etc. I think women that carry the way you do are blessed with super genes. I guess we all want what we don't have but I bet you look beautiful regardless of what everyone else says.

Wow, I cannot even FATHOM fitting into any of my normal clothes! They have been packed in bins and in the attic for so long now I can't even remember what they look like! Full belly pants, all the way - basically, people ask me when I am due, I say July 4, and they say "WOW, REALLY?" then they step back, take another look at my belly, and stare at me in disbelief! Amazing how people just don't hold back.<br><br>
All maternity clothes here!!
