The other day, I was taking my prefolds out of the dryer and I noticed that almost all of my cpf's have stains and none of my ipf's do. I don't think it's just a coincidence. My DS is a frequent poo'er (3 or 4 times a day still) and I KNOW he's pooed plenty of times in the ipf's. Is it just my imagination or are ipf's more stain-resistant than cpf's?

I like ipf's so much more than cpf's and if they are more stain resistant then that's just another point on the pro list for ipf's.

Well, my PFs are all stained beyond recognition, but I don't sun-dry even though I live in AZ.
I do dunk EVERY SINGLE poop as soon as it happens and I Wash every other day so it's not like they're sitting in the pail for days and days with no attention, but...still they stain.
I have CPFs and IPFs both.

Ours stain ... I just think my son has toxic poop - he has even when he was a newborn and only having breast fed poopies.
: I also spray each poop off and tend to wash every day or every day and a half ... but oh well. Now that June gloom is over, I should get better about sunning ... what happens if you sun a hand-dyed dipe? Will the dye fade or just the stain?
