DD has been sick for the couple days (since Friday) with fevers and a little vomiting and now diarhea. i need ideas on how to get the diarhea smell out of dipes and how to get vomity smell out of prefolds I was using in the car in case of accidents. it would be easy if our washer had hot water but the hot water plumbing does not work for the washer and we have to use cold water for all our laundry, dipes included. any suggestions?

Can you boil some hot water to put in your washer to wash with? I would also try a bit of Oxyclean as well. How about a nice long soak? When my ds had diarreha a few months ago I was able to get his dipes nice and clean fairly easily. Good luck!

a soak in just water or should I add something to it? i have some oxyclean and will add hot water to the washer.... thanks!
