Usually my little guy wakes to nurse at about 4AM. Sometimes he just latches on, doesn't wake at all. This morning he woke at four, nursed, and didn't go back to sleep until 6--15 minutes before I have to get up. I tried everything, including rocking, a diaper change, more and more and more nursing...nope, awake, peppy and pulling my hair.

I am pumping now and then I get ready for work. I hope ds will have a more normal nap pattern today and sleep as he usually does tonight. It's going to be rough taking him on our regular grocery store trip today...

Dunno about other folks, but I found that from about 9 to 12 months of age, dd was constantly waking to nurse and sometimes wanted to nurse perpetually. I was a zombie during that time. But it does get better! Really it does!!

I hope it's an aberration rather than a new pattern, and that things will be back to normal tonight for you!
