So the Q and A about me and bfing activism got printed in our weekly. Aside from a few misquotes, it is pretty good. My picture is sadly in it too. Just finished cooking dinner no time to shower etc.... oh the trials of being a mama and trying to do other things that require a picture! Maybe next time I will have time to brush my hair :LOL

http://www.tucsonweekly.com/gbase/Cu...?oid=oid:74107

I think the pic is great!

I just don't get why Az politicians are dragging their feet telling you there needs to be city ordinances before they will consider statewide legislation?? So many states have already adopted bfing legislation, if they are looking for an established precedent, it's there, many times over.

The legislators are working with us. They are dragging their feet on the anytime anywhere/public accomodations part. This is a sticky subject. Hopefully they(legislators) will understand we are not trying to tell business' what they can and can't do. Only that we are protecting a child's right to feed, and its mother's right to provide the feeding and comfort it needs. We are certain no business will come out against children's rights.

And thanks for the kind words. I already have received some negative email about the article. No, not from an anti-nip person, but a self proclaimed lactation educator. Yikes. I thought it was a pretty mellow article.

Oh and Chandler did NOT pass the directive making moms subject to criminal trespassing. That was one of the misquotes. Just wanted to make that clear.
