this article annoyed me. because I'm being nitpicky I guess.

I can understand why some think temping isn't reliable. Afterall, it doesn't tell you about O until after it's happened. And while I myself am pretty regular (always O within 1-2 days of CD 15), I still wouldn't know exactly when I was okay to have unprotected sex until three days after my thermal shift/cervical fluid dry up.

But cycle beads? That's a bunch of hooey IMO. They are comparable to those pregnancy wheels - silly!

That article was obviously influenced by the makers of cyclebeads. I looked at that product and it seems silly. Read TCOYF and you'll have a MUCH better understanding of your body than cyclebeads can ever give.
