I have a coworker who is having a baby boy (EDD in February). When she first became pregnant I asked her about circumcision and she said no way. Then a couple weeks ago I was giving her tips on how to successfully nurse in the hospital (mind you she also once claimed she'd homebirth but went for the hospital the second someone said "I have a great doctor!" who IMO was terrible - she subsequently miscarried and is pregnant again and with a different doctor...
. Anyways... and I go, "You're not circumcising, right?" (getting ready to give her info on how to make sure they don't "accidentally" do it and how to care for the intact penis) and she goes, "Oh yeah, I am. It's WAY cleaner!" and blah blah blah.
So I want to give her some of the best, easiest to read, but most hard-hitting things I can that dispell EVERY myth. (Including UTIs, STDs, etc...there are a lot out there, like UTIs, that are considered to be "true but not worth circ'ing over" when, from what I've read, the studies were done so poorly that they're not true anyways.)
Thanks!!!
