My dd arrived sooner than I thought so she doesn't have a ped yet. I'm having a hard time finding anyone to run a PKU test for me. None of the peds/labs/urgent cares I've called will/can do it. Does anyone have any ideas?

our pediatrician happily did it. We waited a week for it to be done so our babies would have recieved a full weeks worth of breastmilk.
I had no idea it would be so difficult...hell I could probably get her a flu shot in the parking lot of kmart if I wanted to but getting an important test done is a federal production.:

Did you try the Health Dept? I know they do some free tests, but don't know what. You probably already checked there, though. My midwife was a CNM and did it for us.

Sorry, not very helpful, I know.
