Thought I'd get us started in our month of turning 2 and a half!

Not much new here. Still trying to get back to "normal" after both Andrew & I being sick. Carlos has magically avoided it all-thanks to plenty of jalapeno sauce he tells me.

I'm still a bit sad that we're not able to get north for leaf peeping and apple picking, but I just learned that my sister, bil and the kids will be down in December in Orlando, so we'll be able to hang out with them for at least a week.

Send some good thoughts out today as we hopefully will be finding out soon what the status of Carlos' raise is. An investor is supposed to be joining in the ownership today, and there are plenty of rumors about what will happen in the aftermath.

DH just had inventory here and since his numbers looked good, he should get a bonus... But we won't get it until next March, which is the time we should get some tax return $$, so we'll have some extra money for about 1 day, before it's spent..

I can't believe our kiddos will be 2.5.. From the books I've read, 2.5 might be tougher than 2, but who knows, it's all a challenge..

I'm sorry you are missing foilage, it's so beautiful. My brother just moved down to Fla, and that's one of the things he's going to miss, besides good pizza. I think we are going to go apple/pumpkin picking this week...

1st day back after mat. leave an I am exhausted! Totally wiped out. Just one month though so my mantra is going to be "one more day...one more day..."

Happy Pumpkin month! We are doing well and starting to plan our trip with DH to China, looks like we might go the first week of December, possibly for about 2 weeks. It will be interesting to see how Julie does on such a long flight, heck I'm hoping that I can survive it!

Looks like I might have found an attorney to help me with my stolen product issue, and its a mom/attorney from my local parents club! Woo hoo!

I think I am going to go see an acupuncturist soon to see if that will help things along with getting pregnant...I'm going to be 44 next month so time's a-wastin'! Found a highly-recommended one very close by who also went to my alma mater of UNC-Chapel Hill - it is nice when you can find connections like that.

Mighty-It's all about money these days! Especially here in FL-you have to watch the person in front of you because they're trying to figure out how to get their hands in your pockets. It's so infuriating!

Everyone-please keep my friend Kelly in your thoughts. We've been friends for almost 20 years and today she had a sentiel biopsy to see if her newly diagnosed stage 2 breast cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. She's very strong and being that she's the pharmacist for the major hospital where she's also a patient, I know she's in great hands...but some mama love can't hurt.

I'm really hoping that Carlos is serious about starting to look for another job, and I'm trying to convince him to find a "portable" job-something that he can transfer easily with. He's so resistant to change! The hospitality industry in this state is awful-you can either work with the cream of the crop, or the dirtiest of dirty...and he seems to always get the dirtbags! The good thing is my freelance work might meld into something part-time! I'm pretty excited about that.

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been posting over here very much, I have been obsessing over in the TTC boards.

I might be pregnant though. So excited. I will take a test on Tues I think.
Byron is good. He is having outright refusal to poop in the potty though. Kinda funny. I am not too stressed about it but his daycare keeps trying. "Are you going to poop in the potty Byron?" To which he responds, "Nope! Poop in pants." I guess I have to see the humor right. He is not even 2.5 and he is already dry all day. I think he is doing pretty good. I am finding 2.5 a challenging age. He is just as stubborn as I am so I guess I am getting payback for what I did to my mother

My mom thinks so. We are in tantrum central here these days. Tantrum because he is hungry but only wants pizza, tantrum because its bath time, tantrum at bedtime. He won't even let me lay down with him in his bed anymore. Sometimes I think back and I would trade having to get up every 2 hours for the tantrums. If I could go back to 14months some days....

Mighty-thanks. I'll let you know if there's any need for off-board help. No word yet on results, but the good thing is she's the pharmacist at the main hospital at home, so she knows her oncologist very well and has said everyone is looking out for her. I actually mentioned you in an e-mail to her, what a great survivor story you truly are.

Well, a dear friend of mine loves hearing about Andrew's obsession with long hair...so she sent him a wig yesterday! Check it out-it looks like he's ready for Halloween...as the missing member of Poison! The wig actually has a name...Used Car Sales Girl. It's way too funny. He hasn't really taken to wearing it much, but he walks it around the house telling it goodbye!

We've taken a potty backslide, and being sick hasn't helped us at all. Once we're both back on track then we have to hit the potty big time.

dont' know if you all remember but we have been doing gymnastics. with all the Jewish holidays this month we had to do a bunch of make up classes and we haven't gone for 2 whole weeks. Today was one of the make ups. Well, I brought Gabbie in at 11 and the class was at 10:20. She was soo sad, i felt awful. I still feel really bad!

This month I am going to see a specialist (endocrinologist who specializes in fertility) and also acupuncurist...time's a wastin' I'll be 44 next month! I still feel very good, my cycles are regular and I know that I'm ovulating.

We need to get serious about potty, too. Its so hard to find a stretch of time to stay home with diaper off, she's good about going pee on potty when diaper is off, but she will hold her poop!

! If it helps-my docs told me diets like South Beach Diet seem to work for women trying to conceive-low carbs/sugars, high in proteins. Many women-even if they're fit-can sometimes be borderline diabetic and that might hinder conception. I got pregnant doing South Beach-me, the woman that docs said wouldn't get pregnant-ha!

When do you leave for China?

Dara-so sorry about all the missed classes. I'm sure all the holidays have gotten you off schedule a bit, but it will be fine. Can you do other make up classes at another time?

I'm being so super lazy right now-supposed to make dh dinner, but I think I'm going to go the easy route and make him a tuna pita with salad.

Ugh-dh's assistant manager was fired over the weekend, so it looks like he'll have to ramp up the hours. I'm hoping that it will mean better compensation ($$) and then i can work it into a trip north!

Susan, i saw an RE for my pregnancy with Gabbie and the very beginning of the one with Zachary. I hope yours helps you!

AEZ, dieting did help me get pregnant, you're right! As for the class, yeah we can make it up another day. probably will do next thurs. I just felt so bad that I was unable to do makeups (or any classes) for two weeks and now she will have to wait longer for a class! our regular class is on friday.

AEZ, I love the wig, oh it's too much. I actually have pictures of many friends and family members wearing one of my "chemo" wigs.. It's funny to see different people wear the exact same hairstyle.. For the record, my sister's oldest looked the best in it
