I came home from out of town this weekend to find our Toybox Knits Tropical Fish shorts in my mailbox!
They are AWSOME!!!! The design and fit is sooooo perfect and the colors - well just an amazing dye job!

I have to take pics of Maxi in them - he loved them too, didnt want to take them off. When I changed him and put on another pair of shorts he got upset and said "Noooooo! Rainbow shorts!"

I am so impressed with the design that I hurried back this morning and got a custom spot for something for baby girl!!!

I think her stuff might be the next big thing in knit wool.

ETA - here are pics of Maxi in the shorts, he didnt really want to cooperate, he wanted to take the pictures himself :LOL So these are the best I could get!

Oooh, glad you like them! They look fabulous, but I knew you wanted them and we really have enough shorts anyway so I didn't fight you for 'em. :LOL

I'll have to put Toybox on my list of wool to collect for this babe...

The snug-fit waist is awsome too - it actually works! I was sort of surprised because Max has a tiny tush and is pretty skinny these days but they stayed up great! I never had to adjust them once the whole time he wore them - probably 2 hours.

Those are great Morgan. Too bad they hadnt have come earlier, than we could have seen Maxi in them this weekend. I cant wait to see pics.

And Congrats again Rachel. You def should have bought that maternity shirt. If they dont have that one at your Old Navy, itll give you an excuse to come back down again, and while Morgan is still here. I think our DHs hit it off well with the sports talk this weekend too. LOL

That's so cool about the waistband. Devlin has a pair of shorts that I think I could use without the drawstring but I'm scared, LOL! Is that ridiculous or what?

(And Moragn, I am looking into homebirth, have been for months. I am hoping that is what I'm able to do but I have a couple of obstacles.

Very cool that Maxi has gotten so attached to them.

I have a pair of each - Curly Purly shorts and these shorts and I gotta say, while the idea is the same the style is pretty different. Just a really different fit all the way around (not just in the waist).

I love them both but they are not very similar. I should post a photo comparison of that too.

I'm glad you like them. I just bought the 'Wheres the fire' set and started having second thoughts since as fas as I know this WAHM has no track record. I feel so relieved that you had a good experienced and got them relatively fast too.
That is so cute about you son's attachment to them.

ah! don't misunderstand me
I think they are cute for sure...I just immediately thought of the curly purly ones I've eyed before.
no harm intended! And since I've only ever "eyed" them lustfully I can't compare them, yk?
call it an "off the cuff" response. can't wait to see the pictures.

I think that they are? As in I think that the Toy Box Knits mama got her idea from Marnie's (which is free on her site now for every one to use BTW)...
