OK, so it was a dream, but it was SOO REALISTIC! I was at my MWs house and was in labor but didn't feel any pain ( :LOL that's what I get for reading Ina May's Guide to Childbirth before bed). No one else was there but us and all of sudden I was pushing this baby out. I pulled the baby up myself, wiped it off and tried to make it cry to clear the airways. But the baby just smiled at me. I started to nurse, was just filled with such happiness and then I remembered that I needed to check the gender. It was a girl. She just kept smiling at me.

Funny thing is, my placenta was still inside and this while time we were waiting for it to deliver, so I remember wadding over to a bed (I had given birth standing up) so I could relax with the babe while we waited. Crazy details like that made it so much more real!

The emotions just felt so strong that I am still in awe now, at work, hours later. I almost feel like I got to meet my baby early!
This whole girl vibe is even stronger now! What a shock I will be in if I see a penis in Novemer!

That sounds like a great dream. I had one the other night that was very vivid. I can still see it. This whole time I have felt it was a boy. In the dream we got to the hospital, thinking it was a boy. I gave birth, looked down and it was a beautiful girl looking at me. I dont know if this dream is trying to tell me that what I am feeling (about the boy) is wrong or not
