Eek, maybe I should say "Toddlers".
I have a 13 month old. She's a baby o.k.??? I'm only here because toddler is a technical term and I'm into technology.
Anyhow

What dangerous things do your kids love to play with that aren't so safe?
Mine has always had a thing for batteries and staples. I guess these are the things that fall onto the floor in the computer room where I always am.
But why the fascination!? Staples I get.. they're in a box and you can take them out of the box and put them back in over and over (if you're a baby).
Just want to know if mine is the only one with a dangerous side lol...

our dd is nearly 14 months and she is fearless. We always attempt to find a safe way for her to explore some of the more dangerous things. She particularly enjoys plugging things into outlets. No electrocutions yet we are proud to say

I've got an 11mo old who wants to climb. Found him up on the sofa, up on the arm of it, reaching for the remote on the piano! I've also found him working at the plug covers.

DD was content with her toys. I was lucky with the first...

Open dishwasher...look at all the fascinating plastic bowls and sturdy ceramic plates and nifty metal spoons...select large pointy knife as only item in dishwasher worth grabbing for...scream when mama pulls your hand away from shiny knife.

Sigh...if we make it to two with all fingers still attached I'll be one proud mama!

Our son has actaully climbed inot the dishwasher. He also loves to climb on his big sister's step stool in front of the bathroom sink. I have found him on rcoking chairs and the back of the couch. He also loves scissors, and loves to chase the vasccuum.

The dishwasher for sure, then she moved on to the those safety plugs and would pull them out and put them back in like it was a fun puzzle. I had to get those whole faceplace ones, but how is it that it's that easy to take out

Mine likes stairs. She loves to climb up and down the steps. She is very good at it too. We have gates of course but she's now trying to stand on her toes so she can get over the gate.
She's tall but not tall enough to do that. In a year or so she'll be able to get over the gate I'm sure. Then we're really in trouble!

DD likes to run with ball point pens in her hands. {cringe.} And chew on them. She will cry if you don't hand her a pen. Yeah-- she likes to draw with them too. And if she scribbles on something that's not paper or her own body, she willl say "Oh oh," and ask you to clean it. I can handle some pen use. I just wish worry she's going to fall on one, one day.

um - yeah - glad to see I am not the only one with a fearless child. Rosie loves the stairs, chewing on pens, scissors, pointy forks, knitting needles - she always gravitates to the most pointy and dangerous thing in eyesight.
