I've worked on this blanket for almost a year
i knitted it with my good sock wool on size 4s it's 40x50''

then i hand quilted the back to the batting, took FOREVERto go round all them little mushrooms

i used the left over paas dye on my new fiber and spun it up.

I love the way you photographed the yarn with the eggs, that's gorgeous.

Now for the questions:
How do you mean, quilted? Did you quilt the mushroomy cotton before you put it together with the wool, or are you using your knitting as batting?
Have you used fringe on baby blankies before, and did anything bad happen?
Do you know how gorgeous they are?

i mean i stitched around all the mushrooms to connect it to the batting

yes i quilted before, and i used cotton batting

yes i have i have a bit of a fringe fetish and no nothing bad has happened.
