Yesterday I noticed my belly looks and feels much lower. My heartburn has also drastically improved over the last week and I feel like I need to pee much more frequently (if that's even possible!). This is my third pregnancy and as such she shouldn't really "drop" until closer to my due date but it really seems to me that she has. Has anyone else experienced this yet or felt that your baby had dropped earlier than expected in a 2nd or 3rd pregnancy?

While "they" say 2nd+ pregnancies, the babies don't drop until much later if not until labor, I'm sure a number of babies drop before labor.

From what you're experiencing or NOT experiencing, I'd say she maybe dropped a bit?

I feel like this one has dropped over the past week or so as well. My belly seems lower and I am peeing MUCH MUCH more often.

My little one has also dropped significantly (I'm 37+2). It is really nice to be able to breathe again but my goodness, the peeing... I actually put a bunch of reading material in the bathroom since I find myself spending so much time in there. I'm also having pretty gnarly pain in my hips and pelvis. Maybe baby girl is resting on a nerve? This being my first, however, I'm mainly just marveling at how cool our bodies are. How do they know to do these things? I really feel like I'm experiencing something miraculous!

I swear mine did in the last 24 hours. I'm not even 35 weeks though! But suddenly he's out of my ribs, in my cervix, and his hiccups are a lot lower.

My last baby (2nd pregnancy) dropped very early (maybe around 33 weeks?) and was born almost a week late. My current baby dropped some about two weeks ago and has dropped more in the last few days (at almost 35 weeks).

My little boy has finally settled vertex and at the moment at least, is definitely low in my pelvis (2/5 as of yesterday...meaning 3/5 of his head is in my pelvis).

I can seriously feel the difference as I was in soooo much pain to the point of numbness. BUT I also know that I am only 34 weeks and probably have another 7 weeks to go...so he will grow and fill up that space before I know it!! :p But I will enjoy the breathing room while I have it!!!!

I'm 33 weeks (almost 34 now) and I'm sure that the baby dropped about a week or two ago. My OB confirmed this the other day (I had an u/s) and said that she's already in a very good position

But the same thing happened in my first pregnancy around the same time, although this time my baby girl was a lot higher up than my DS ever was.

Is it pretty obvious when the baby drops? And when would it normally drop in first time mothers? I was told at my MW appt the other day that baby is pretty much locked into place and she didn't think it was going anywhere now (at least not going floating around) so does that mean it's dropped?

This is my 4th baby, and I can honestly say that I've never really experinced the "dropping" sensation, I have always chalked it up to only being 5 feet tall and having no room to "drop"...unless they are dropping right out of me I do remember after I had my daughter and standing up for the first time to walk to the bathroom having these severe chest pains, and I really think what was happening is that my lungs were filling with air (kinda "reinflating") for the first time in a long time!

I dropped with dd#2 at 34 weeks to 0 Station, mw's thought i'd go by 36 weeks. By 36 weeks she was +1. I was so uncomfy at both those checkups i asked for a cervix check. But she hung out till her edd and arrived right at 40 weeks. So yes, i know it's possible to drop with your consequent children.

This pregnancy i have dropped, but not engaged. I can tell the difference. I am able to breath and baby isn't always in my ribs. But this babe still goes breech, transverse and vertex, so i know it's not 'dropped' the way my last dd did.
