So, I've been jogging and doing pilates. My goal is fitness not weight loss, I'm pretty happy with the way I look, tho I could do w/o the flabby baby belly. I am already feeling much healthier and I can see that I'm starting to lose weight. If I get rid of some of that tummy that would be a nice bonus, BUT I don't want to lose my big ass! Seriously, I love my big ass. This is probably a stupid question but I know nothing about the whole world of exercise... Is there anything I can do to sort of focus the weight loss fairies in other areas (especially stomach) and divert them away from my booty?

Nope, you can't determine where your body will loose fat from (no spot reducing or spot gaining!). As you loose weight you can do exercises that will build the muscles in your butt that will help define your butt, though. Lots of stairs/steps, squats, biking... If your rear is where you tend to carry extra weight, though, it will probably stay proportionally bigger.
