When I first read the title to this thread, I thought you were wondering if having sex had an effect on baby's heartbeat. I contemplated on that for a while before I actually opened the thread and saw I was a little off.

My DD, her HR was usually in the 150s-160s.
My DS, his HR was usually in the 130's-140s.
This Bean, well, last time mw checked, I think the HR was in the 160s and mw even commented, "Sounds like a girl!"
We'll see. I can't wait!
