We welcomed our little one here Sat, the 21st. Joe-Grayson is doing well, he weighted 6lbs 6oz. We just got home and I thought about everyone of you guys the whole time. A quick des of my birth story. I went in on Friday night around 11 to the hospital with contractions. I was 4cm dilated on Weds at the docs office so I thought that I would go fast, wrong. I was having contractions and they hooked me up to these machines and then checked me. After 2 hours I was still 4 cm with reg contractions. So we had to go walk straight for an hour around the hospital. Then still no change. They started the pitocin at 5 am and it took forever. Then I got my epidural when I was 5 cm around 8 that morning. I liked to have never dilated, at 1:00 I was finally 8 cm and then at 1:15 I was fully dilated. He came really fast in 2 pushes as the epidural had wore off and I didn't know that you have to pump it to make it work. Some of those dumb nurses should have told me. Anyhow his face was really swollen and bruised as he came down and out so fast and he was turned the wrong way too. IF ANY OF YOU GUYS haven't decided which way to birth I recommend the home birth. We had to many restraints and restrictions and they have you poked and anyhow I will not ever do another hospital birth even though they was all very nice (the Walmart man is nice but I don't want him delivering my baby, you know!!). With all said I cried the minute we got home. Its still so unreal that he is here. He is so pretty and with the blond hair and blue eyes, I WILL post pics in the next day or so. I had a horrible birth experience but he is what really counts!! Ok, well I am off to see how many more of us have been made mommies (new or old, LOL).
