Hi, so tomorrow I have an appointment with our family natropath to see what this is all about. I was changing DS's diaper and noticed baby powder on his shin area and wondered when he got into it (cornstarch) tried rubbing off with homemade butt wash and it wouldn't come off it's literally under his skin and was red around the area that was white I wish there were a way to post a photo but I wouldn't know what to use? Flicker? I think I have an account I will have to update and see.

Has anyone else ever experienced this before? It looks like a case of really dry skin ( we live in alaska and its very windy and cold here so we deal with alot of dry skin ) but this was almost instant because when I got him from his nap I did not see it until later. Any help would be appreciated.

He hasnt has thrush since being an infant
natropath claimed he has roseola during summer when he had blotchy skin and I was concerned. Other than that he had a penis infection a week ago which has healed. He is intact.

Well it's been 24 hours and so far its all cleared up. It really freaked me out because I wasn't sure what I was dealing with and still don't! The only thing I did differently was at a friends house he took a bath with our friends kids (I didnt think to clean the tub before hand!) and was caught playing in the dog kennel 2 x's! So possibly exposed to something?

Was thinking it was a possible a wart exposure?

No one out there has experience with this?
