Baby Reece was born at 8:35 a.m. on April 4th. He was 7lb 6 oz. and 19.5" long. Pretty good since in my predictions I said he was going to be 7 lb 7 oz. I was pretty close! He is absolutely adorable and his big brothers are so proud. He is having a hard time latching and we are working on it. At the moment we are pumping and trying to get as much into him as possible since he is quite jaundiced and is pretty sleepy because of it. As for the birth experience, I started having contractions about every 20 minutes apart at about 2:00 am in Monday the 3rd and they SLOWLY got closer and closer together. when we arrived at the hospital for the scheduled c-section, contractions were about 5-5 1/2 minutes apart and lasting 1 1/2 minutes each. I am so glad that if I had to have a c-section birth, he would have been here the same day. The c-section went relatively smooth except they did have a hard time at one point since there were alot of adhesions between the uterus and bladder. Right after he was born, Scott got to go over and be with him while they did his assessments. They brough him over for me to snuggle for a few minutes, then while they sewed me up, they brought him back into my room and I got to spend my whole recovery with him. We were only not together for maybe 25 minutes. It was so neat to be able to stare at him and nurse him right away like that and not be seperated like I was with the boys. We took some pictures but they are currently stuck on my camera. It decided to quit working the evening he was born and now I am trying to get the pictures off of it. Once I get it figured out I will post some pictures of our little peanut
