So what do you all like for baby shampoo? I've been using Carotte, which is AWESOME, but it's hard to find and I'm almost out of it. I'm thinking of using Mustela, which is easy enough to order online. I am unfortunately not crazy about Burt's Bees, and I absolutely can't stand Johnson's or Huggies or those really common ones.

Does anyone know of any really good brand that I'm not aware of??

I use burt's bees bath bar on my babies until they are about 2 and then we switched to huggies. We use BB bar from head to toe and like it fine.

We use Earth's best organic baby shampoo. It is lightly scented with lavender essential oil and has no parabens or laureth sulfates. I like the California baby line, too. I know people swear by Mustela, but I read the ingredients in their products, and they are full of chemical crap. I would avoid them if I were you.

So far I don't use shampoo on my 9 month old and doubt I will. His head always smells sweet and doesn't get oily. I just rinse it in the bath every other day and his hair is so healthy. The dead skin does need to be removed from the scalp and you can do this by massaging his scalp and or using a soft baby brush. There is no reason to strip the hair of all its natural healthy oils. It just makes the body dependent on soap by excessively producing oil.

I love all of the baby products at http://www.northernessence.com
Their foaming tearless babywash/shampoo is really nice and comes in a ton of different scents. They have lots of other types of soaps and stuff as well.

Nice. I didn't know they made baby shampoo. Young Living essential oils are the best!

I Grassroots "bundle of joy" baby shampoo...it smells soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yummy! I got it at a baby shower (and my 4mo has not even put a dent in it yet, and I've used it twice myself lol) but you could probably just google to find out where it is sold.

We also use Dr. Bronner's Baby Soap and the new Weleda Baby Wash/Shampoo combo (yummy smell!). But my little guy's still sporting the "bald is beautiful" look...

We use Avalon Organics baby shampoo. It's very gentle and I use it to wash his whole body.
