My DD (8mos) has started pulling herself up and cruising along furniture. I know the next step will be taking steps. What kind of shoes should I purchase for her?
I have heard that they should spend an equal amount of time in hard soled as well as Robeez. Is this true?

Both my boys have started walking bare foot or in the leather soft shoes. My first walked before 9 months and did great in the soft shoes.

I have a friend who sell handmade leather baby shoes/ soft sole walkers... They are the BEST!! She does custom colors and patterns, my son has a lime green pair!! Yes lime green leather! If you would like more info on her just PM me!!

My DS is 11 mos and still doesn't have shoes. He walks pretty well now. We do keep meaning to get him some soft shoes so that he can walk with us on the sidewalk (you know, I worry about little shards of broken glass etc) but if your babe is walking indoors, or outside on a nice surface like grass, barefoot is great!

Sage is 14 months and just wore her first pair of shoes on Sunday. We went to the neighbor's 14th birthday party. It was at the Club her brother DJ's for (but during the day so only open for her guests, I was helping to chaperone) I put a pair of Robeez type on her because I had no idea what may have gone on in the club the night before and did not want her walking in it!
