Abby is 9 1/2 months old and has diareah (sp). It started yesterday morning, and has continued. She has never had even a hint of diaper rash in her life, and now I am seeing some reddness and rash appearing. I am changing her continually, so she does not ever sit in a dirty diaper, and I am wiping gently.

Any magic potions to help this heal and not developer further?

Also, for those of you who use your washing machine as a wet pail, how does that work> As you can imagine we are going through dipes like crazy. I have been dunking/rinsing in the toilet then throwing in the pail, and plan on washing once or twice a day to keep up with her ( We have about 25 pockets, 1 AIO and 1 cover and some prefolds). Do I just toss in the filled washer with the poop still on it (EWWW!!) or do I still rinse out in the toilet and then toss in?

Any suggestions are so appreciated!

Calm down, sweetie! It'll be ok. I have a majic "Potion" for you..... BOUDREAUX'S BUTT PASTE http://www.buttpaste.com/
IT WORKS LIKE MAJIC!!! And if you need it in a hurry, (sounds like you do) Thenm check Save Mart or Rite Aid I believe they both carry it. Other places may also.

Sounds to me like you introduced some fruit into her diet..... think back on what she ate in 24 hours of the diarhea......... any new fruit, anything acidic?

GOOD LUCK... I SWEAR this stuff works AWESOME!! (even for Candida/yeast/Thrush rash!!!)

Thanks for the suggestion!

Nope, no fruit. She does not eat any solids, by her choice, just not interested yet. She is bottle fed. I should have mentioned she is also is vomitting, so I am thinking some sort of tummy bug.
