We had so much fun!<br><br>
I met a couple of MDC mamas. Jen from Bumwrap (Diaper_Addict_Jen) had arranged to have our booths next to each other (I'm Stacinator BTW). She is one of those fantastically prepared people so I was able to borrow ball point pens and swap change since I am a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants girl and forgot those items. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"> It was fun to meet her dh and her three kiddos too.<br><br>
I also met Melissa (Ms.Doula) and her cute little girls (those pigtails!). I also met one other MDC mama. I'm so embarrassed, but I'm drawing a blank on her real name AND her username. How embarrassing.... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/yikes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="EEK!"> Her little baby Jessica was a cutie.<br><br>
Back to the fest...<br><br>
It was great! It was all natural family stuff. There were slinging babies everywhere. Many were cloth diapered. A lot of pregnant mommies who wanted information. There was a babywearing fashion show, Gymboree playtime, Sing-a-longs for kids, a raffle, and more I'm sure I'm forgetting.<br><br>
It was very well-organized. The food was yummy. I had a blast.<br><br>
I'll anxiously await next year.<br><br><br>

That sounds like a blast! Do they have one every year in Fresno? Yes, we are planning on doing one every year now!! Whoohoo! We had such a great response yesterday, and it was such a success, I am so proud of us I could just bust! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><br><br>
I am so glad you had a good time, and feel it was a success. We raised a lot of money for The Discovery Center's 0-5 playground. And we had such wonderful vendors, I can't wait to get started on next year!!

I really wish I was a WAHM (well just for this moment <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"> ). Every year we have Hempfest here in Seattle (don't ask me how I know :LOL ). And this year I'd decided to take Nathan with some custom clothes that tell about his hemp diapers. If I were a WAHM I'd set up a booth to show the hemp diapers!<br><br>

Hey Staci!!! It was fun! Kind of hot, but fun! This was the first time I have meet my online buddies. It was cool. They had fun entertainment for the kids too. Next year should even better.

My two cousin's in law were there. We'd planned on going since last year in April, but it didn't work out for us this year. I'm so happy it turned out okay! Yay Babyfest!
