and I have scoliosis (sp?), a very tight him and some problems in my mid-upper back area. She said the mid back is my biggest problem if I'm trying to relactate because all the nerves are connected there. Carter has a very stiff muscle in his neck and a problem with one of his neck discs. So, he has to go back once a week for awhile and I have to go 3 times a week for awhile. Hopefully it will help with our bf'ing issues.

On a side note, he has been nursing like a champ. He knows what's coming and gets all excited. If he looses his latch he grabs and gets all freaky until I re-latch him. He has been nursing me dry at each feeding and taking in less formula. I'm so happy about the progress we are making. I must say it was much easier to nurse at the chiro's office. Those benches are great for staddling over you baby. I can't wait until he's nursing in my arms. I am going to make an appointment with a LC for next week, so we can work on his latch and see if maybe that's also contributing to his not wanting to nurse in my arms. I don't think he has a good latch that way and is'nt getting as much as when he's on his back. On his back I can really control his latch and he can get a good mouthful.

I'm really happy about the amount I pumped today. I'm hoping that with the 3 extra pumps I do at night, I might be able to get enough to suppliment with bm soon (or at least one suppliments worth).

I also want to say that my progress is not only due to my persistance, but also due to the tremendous support I am recieving here. It's like I have fans that I don't want to dissapoint, so it keeps me going. Thanks all.

Cindy...

I am so happy for you and I look forward to meeting you IRL soon! I am so proud and amazed to know someone like you...someone who has taken the time and effort to do an unselfish task for their child. I am glad to be part of your support team!!

This is so great to hear! I'm so glad things are just getting better and better every day.
That's great to hear about the chiro too. It sounds like it'll make a big difference for you both.
