Is anyone else looking around them, feeling overwhelmed by how much cleaning has piled up over the summer? Housework has not been a priority here for a couple of months, and now I'm appalled at the condition of our closets, drawers, pantry, refrigerator, and so on, and so on....

Oh, yes.

In fact, I've been doing little bits at a time each day getting us ready for the school year. I did the linen closet the other day and DH actually noticed! One task each day makes it more manageable.

Ugh, I detest the fridge too. I have a crappy side by side and nothing I do will help that situation. We juice and the carrots and beets alone fill it up.

Absolutely-tackle one thing a day is the way to go. I feel a bit better because I got off my tuckus and went through the children's closets, and purged some toys for good will. I had told myself I would start this process on Wed., when dd starts school, so I'm at least ahead of myself!
