Okay- I love my Sally Spicer black dragonfly bag, but with DS now a toddler and all the paraphanalia that comes with him, my bag is getting a big heavy With him ( 24lbs) in the sling and the bag over my sholder, I can't last for very long.

I'm looking into a backpack type bag, that can hold 3 or so cloth diapes ( we use FB mostly) changing pad, wallet, cellphone, lipstick, wipes, snacks, sippy cup, a couple of toys, yada yada yada.... without spilling out of the bag. I'm looking for something stylish, but doesn't need to be trendy per se.

II've been looking at the I'm Still Me diaper bags with interest, but wanted y'all's opinion. ( I like the kimono backpack BTW )

TIA

I use the Lands end backpack bag. It's big (holds maybe 1/2 dozen cloth dipes and then all our other stuff!) It's pretty cheap, and it's really well made. We've had it for a couple of years and it still looks new. It doesn't have enough compartments IMO, though. It has a front small pocket, a medium middle, and a huge bag part. I do like it for size and ease, though!

I don't know if this is universal, although I've seen several complaints about it over the years, but slings and backpack diaper bags don't go together all that well. The diaper bag constantly falls off the shoulder unless you put it all the way on, which people generally don't do. Maybe a messenger style bag? Something like the Diaper Dude bag? http://www.diaperdude.com/Merchant2/...iaperbags.html I don't know what the size is inside though.

I'm holding out for the new ImStillMe bag (the SoBig) It comes out in February, which is when I'm due, and it looks really nice. http://imstillme.com/new_.html I wrote to them the other day and got this info about the inside: "There are 6 outside pockets (4 elastic bottle/sippy size and 2 lg flat pockets (for changing pad or wipes or whatever). The inside has 2 more sippy size elastic pockets, 1 large flat pocket and 1 large zippered compartment."

I also want a regular ImStillMe bag too, but I don't know if I can convince DH that I need 2 of them.

ETA: I have a Land's End Backpack Diaper Bag and I used it exclusively and quite heavily for about 3 1/2 years until it fell apart. It was nice, but definately felt utilitarian to me and it is true, there are not even remotely enough pockets!

Hmmm.. I'll be watching for responses here. Gotta be something hubby'd wear as well, as we both trade off with our Kozy carrier on trips, and I don't wanna get stuck with the tot and the tote. :LOL

That's why you have to buy one of their XL totes (which you can wear messenger-style) from their sample sale page!! Then you can "afford" 2!
http://imstillme.com/sample_sale_bags.html

I just got the Lands End backpack diaper bag and LOVE it!!!

It has two large compartments, cup holders on the side, several small pockets. It's really comfy on your back!

I have a toddler (2 1/2) and a baby on the way and I was so sick of carrying diaper bags/purse, etc. This way I will have my hands free!

I bought an inexpensive "School" backpack from Old navy. It's got many pockets that zip, two big main compartments, two mesh side pockets, and it's cute (navy with little flowers all over it -- but they did have plain). I then bought one of those "no diaper bag diaper bag kit" with the changing pad, and a wet sack.

Works for us, and if it gets trashed, it wasn't a big investment (on sale at ON for $8.99).

Not cheap, but if you love your SS you might really like the Petunia Pickle Bottom. I have one and I use it not only as a diaper bag but also as a purse/shopping bag when my mom and I go to craft shows.
