i think i have BV- i dont have any odor, but my cervix is really red, and i have slight itching. i think it is bv b/c one of my instructors at school says she has the same symptoms and her practitioner says it is BV. i am going to do a wet mount at clinic tomorrow and check it out, but i think my regimin will be as follows:

garlic clove suppositories every night for 3 nights, followed by
a diluted apple cider vinegar douche and probiotics taken by mouth and as a suppository every day for 3 days, then just probiotics for a few days.

how does that sound? any suggestions?

That sounds sane to me. Other options you can try include diluted tea tree oil or diluted hydrogen peroxideto the area. About a 1:10 ratio I think. Good Luck

I would go to the HFS and get tea tree oil vagnial suppositories (pessaries) which are just TTO in a veggie oil base. Keep them in the fridge - they are nice and cooling and do the job well. I put one in at night and if it's bad, another in the day but with a pantiliner since it will eventually leak out.

I use hydrogen peroxide in water washes and it works GREAT. It's cheap, effective, and non-irritating. It's wonderful.

Just two Tbs in an 8oz peri bottle of warm water - three times a day. Most BV is gardnerella and those little bacteria HATE oxygen!
