bad news

Well, it looks like I'll be leaving this group. I had my ultrasound today and it turns out I have a molar pregnancy. I'm going to have a d&c on Thursday to have it removed and then we will have to monitor my hcg levels to make sure it doesn't come back. We won't be able to try to get pregnant again for about a year. I wish you all healthy pregnancies and hopefully I'll be back in a due date club next year!

Emily, I am so, so sorry to hear your terrible news. You must be devastated. My wish for you is that you are surrounded by people who love you and will care for you, as you recover physically and emotionally. And also that your year of needing to wait to try again is filled with other sources of richness and joy.
